Correct. The V3 was built with a 4 inch antenna which is optimized for 868-915MHz band. Initially, when it first came out and even into last fall, the V3 still hadn't received the (915MHz for the US) frequency capability yet. So it looks like they atleast got that sorted out.Rossiman,
From what I understand, the 900 MHz is only for the V3. V2 will remain on the two original frequencies, 2.4 and 5.8 I think.
V2 still has all the intelligent flight modes (13) and missions (6) on the most current app, Autel Explorer V2, and firmware. Corridor is replaced with Slope for V3.
I installed the current app and firmware on my V3 over the weekend and no additional flight modes, just 6 (Pano, Hyper-lapse, Orbit Hyper-lapse, Dynamic Track, Smart Orbit, and Orbit). However, the sticks feel more "DJI-Like", but maybe that's just in my mind. The missions are also the same 6 (Way-point, Rectangular, Polygon, Oblique, Recording, and Slope).
Hope this helps.
Gerry
Dynamic tracking comes with the V3, however all the others have not been restored. Still missing dual stability, waypoint, tripod, parallel, and VR mode. I was hoping they would be in the recent update. The V3 controller is nice, however I do experience a lag when switching from video to photo. The button becomes unresponsive. Not sure if anyone else has experienced the same.So it's been a few months. I'm tired of the V2's remote and 2.4GHz sucks in my area.
The intelligent flight modes aren't a deal breaker to me. I mainly fly manually.
That said, is the 900-915MHz band working yet? Priority #1. It's what I use for my FPV drones and it rocks...
Second, have any of the intelligent flight modes been restored?
Dynamic or tripod track and then ofcourse dual stability or precision flight? Thanks.
Waypoint is under Mission Planner, not under Intelligent Flight modes.Dynamic tracking comes with the V3, however all the others have not been restored. Hey bud, would you mind helping me out with the precision mode? I have the V3 Pro but it doesn't have the Precision Mode option. Would you mind putting yours in Precision and going to the settings page under Flight Control> scroll to the bottom and go into Advanced Settings> EXP and screenshot those settings please? Then back out of EXP and go into Sensitivity and screenshot that page please? I think having those settings will help me manually set mine up for Precision. The pics show what I'm using right now to give me a little more fine control and the sensitivity page is tough to figure out with trial and error.Sure, Unless I misunderstood something.
I would love to see that precision settings tooHey bud, would you mind helping me out with the precision mode? I have the V3 Pro but it doesn't have the Precision Mode option. Thanks for any help.
Im filming roofs at a close distance and under tree limbs sometimes and dont want the jerky yaw movement. It makes seeing defects better and not having the defect area jump out of screen. The old Precision Mode was perfect on the EVO 1.Yaw movement at 30% is a real variable depending on how fast you fly and how close to the subject you are . At some speeds and longer distances 30% is too much and close in its too slow.
I just purchased the V3 and have experienced a lag or having to push/poke the button numerous times before they switchDynamic tracking comes with the V3, however all the others have not been restored. I've set all my stick inputs to .20 and Yaw to 20% and Attitude to 20%. The attitude seems to have helps quite a bit with the jerkiness so these work for me. They do get reset though after any updates.Im filming roofs at a close distance and under tree limbs sometimes and dont want the jerky yaw movement. If someone could just screenshot the values it would make manual changes quicker.
Thanks
READ THE ABOVE ENTRIES! The V3 IS missing the flight modes mentioned above.I have the V3 Enterprise, and the intelligent flight modes are there.
