I have an Evo Lite+ and it flies well with the initial compass calibration. I live in Santa Barbara, CA and I am planning a trip to Lake Arrowhead. It is about 160 miles away (mostly east) and at 5,000 ft elevation instead of sea level. I’m wondering if I should recalibrate the compass. Maybe the difference in magnetic declination angle is the more important factor instead of distance. The magnetic angle difference is about 0.5 degrees. Is that enough that I should recalibrate?
