Waypoints needed

I understand Autel has no intention of including waypoints with the Lite+ - right?
I wish I had paid closer attention to such things as I would have realized it was a dealbreaker for me.

Are there any 3rd party apps or maybe a workaround for this?
Is there any way to save a location on a map so I can manually fly to it?
Any map hacks for this? (as in.. use google maps with saved points on the google maps)

I understand these manufacturers want to avoid cannibalizing sales of their other offerings, but who would have thought Autel would have purposely gimped such fine aircraft?

there are lots of recent high-end drones across all manufacturers that are omitting the traditional waypoint/missions function. i think it's a dying feature despite being overwhelming popular for some. i don't know the reason but if i had to guess, i would think it had something to do with drones flying autonomously gps over long distances on their own without connecting to a remote.
