Hopefully someone on here can help me, up until now all of my mapping missions have run without a hitch but now i am presented with this problem. Once the drone is up in the air and i start the mission, the controller says mission uploaded successfully and the drone makes its way to the starting point. For whatever reason the drone either stops halfway or it gets to the starting point and then the controller says mission executed completed. Thats all i get the drone just sits there and hovers i have done the latest firmware update which apparently fixes a mission bug but unfortunately it hasn't fixed my problem. Any ideas?

Mi missions always start on the ground. Why you take your aircraft up before starting the mission ?

Is this happening with newly created missions? Old missions created with the previous firmware? Both?

It happens with new missions and flying previous mapped missions, even after the software update. Testing it again the other day it only appears to hang up with polygon, rectangle and oblique worked just fine. I ended up changing the starting point on a poly mission and the drone flew it so I'm not sure what its problem is but at least I'm up and running again.

I always hover my drone first and make sure i have plenty of satellites and check all the controls before sending it . It's no different than when I'm on the ramp at the airport checking magnetos, radios and everything else before taking off.

A pre-flight check is included in the mission program. It won't execute the mission until the preflight check is completed. Only after completion it takes off.
