USB Connection Issue
Some computers recognize the USB connection to the EF9-3 controller (USB A -> C or C -> C), while others don’t. Why might this be happening? I’m trying to transfer files to the remote before and after each flight.
Waypoint Missions - Corner Radius
In the parameter list for waypoint (WP) missions, there’s a "corner radius" setting with a default value of 0. If I set this to 1, will the V3 avoid stopping at each WP and perform "adaptive turns" instead? For polygon missions, I recall there’s another parameter (can’t remember the name at the moment) that ensures the drone doesn’t stop at each WP. Does this achieve a similar effect?
Camera Action - Distance Lapse
We use distance lapse for capturing images and aim for maximum forward overlap. At 10m/s, a 5m interval works but occasionally results in faulty images. Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution? (We using high end very fast SD cards)
Camera Settings - Thermal Mapping Only
We exclusively perform thermal mapping and have no use for RGB or mixed images. Is there a way to disable RGB image capture entirely? For now, I’ve been covering the RGB camera lens to reduce the data load on the V3, minimizing the amount written to the SD card during trigger events.
FFC Event Issue
When flying a preplanned mission (created with terrain follow in UgCS and exported as a KML), the FFC button "disappears" from the screen once the route is started. This behavior is different from the V1, where the button remains visible. Has anyone else encountered this?
