We're only seeing the 7680x4320 (16:9 33MP) and 4000x3000 (4:3 12MP) photo resolution modes available on Missions for the Autel EVO 2 8k. Dragging to the right does not show the 48MP resolution like it does in the Camera section of the Autel Explorer app.

Is that what you are all seeing?

How do we enable the 8000x6000 (48MP) mode for Missions?

So then Autel is falsely advertising their EVO II 8K 48MP camera? Geez, that's really unfortunate. Buyer beware.

We guessed this might be the case but were really hoping we were wrong. If anyone has more details please let us know.

Well, it's not false to a degree, it's a quad-core sensor, I believe. So you have MPs inside your MPs. But the true nature of the camera is 12 MPs

is mission resolution support 7680x4320 (16:9 33MP) and 4000x3000 (4:3 12MP) or only 12 mp did you try it? what is your experience ?

if you fly a mission manually, like a POI, you can set your camera settings to 8000x6000 48MP and it works.

That is a disgrace.
Looks like I'll be stick with DJI after all (though the EVO 6K is a great drone) for my next purchase.......

I have been able to fly mapping mission using the 8K video and extracting frames. I fly to a point, move EVO to side looking to get needed overlap then film coming backward. This has worked well. There is no GPS data in the images but I have been able to make mosaics and 3-D models from the 8000 x 6000 pixel images.
