Well guys, as mentioned above...I'm trying to figure why the Evo 2 Pro camera "zooms" in a bit if I select a frame rate of 48 or higher. At 30 or below...the picture shown on the phone screen is wider, 4K. In 2.7, it's a wider shot @ 120fps.

It's in Automatic mode, so I assume it's changing this for a reason, but I don't notice any other changes....

I have noticed the same thing, It may not be able to handle the extra pixels at the faster rates.

A call to Autel might get an answer.

I might agree if it was just 4k....but 2.7 is also affected.

Called Autel and sent screenshots...waiting on a reply.

I did some testing on this subject last month. In the first 4 data sets, I changed the camera frame rate from 24 to 30 to 48 to 60 f/s while hovering and shooting the same scene with lots of detail and colors. In the other data sets, I recorded various complex scenes. The E2P camera is limited to a maximum of 120 Mbits/sec. Since higher frame rates require processing more pixels per second, at higher the frame rates, fewer bits of data can be collected per pixel. Here's the results of those tests:
E2P Mbps Chart.jpg
Notice that 4K/24 and 4K/48 use the maximum Mb/s capability of the camera (120 Mb/s). "6K" at 30 f/s also records at ~120 Mb/s. 4K/30 HDR and LOG (10-bit color) recordings have approximately the same bit rate (Mb/s and b/p) as shown above in std (8-bit) mode at 30 f/s.

I also noticed that 48 and 60 f/s have slightly narrower field of view than 24 and 30 f/s. I'm not sure why that is.

VERY interesting...thanks for the great info, Rubik3!

Autel did respond, basically telling me that it's normal. Your chart is very helpful. As long as the video frame is filled....I would assume that whatever the difference is can be adjust by A/C placement when getting the shot.
