So, I bought my 3rd battery for my Evo 2, and before flying with it, I noticed the prompt to update to 2.7.25 on my phone. "Weird" i thought, at first, then I remembered every battery has to have its firmware updated, so...i just did the update.

5 minutes later, I'm ready to fly. But I noticed my range is super bad. I was getting the bad signal warning when i was 40 meters high and 80 meters away. At first I blamed it on the bad positioning of the antennas, but the problem persisted even after re-adjusting.

The Video stream always has some weird artifacts (looks like the image is overlaying like 5 times) when I move the camera around. I'm pretty sure it's some sort of packet loss.
I tried everything. Flying backwards, to keep the drone's antennas facing towards me, tilting the remote up and down until the signal was the strongest, but...the problem persists.

Even slight movements of the remote make the signal drop to 2 bars.
Can anyone help me?

Have you tested it i another area?
Before the fw upgrade, how far have you been able to go (in the same area)?

I did, 20 minutes ago in an unpopulated area , and the results are the same.

I was able to fly about 3km with no signal loss, before.

Perhaps try rolling back and reinstall. Perhaps something went wrong with update. A correct update would not cause this issue

AS Anzjack said, try to reflash the firmware using the SD method.
IF you want (do at your own risk) rollback to previos version and test it again and than upgrade by SD to the latest FW

If the issue is still there, contact AR support
