Evo 2 fails IMU calibration at step 2

Hi! Recently my Evo 2 V1 stopped properly detecting landings and the motors fail to shut down 60% of the landings, unless you do a weird yaw motion with the drone that triggers an ESC failsafe, but it looks really sketchy.

Had this problem in the past, but it was easily fixed with an IMU calibration.

However, it doesn't complete it anymore. I tried literally every firmware version since the drone launched until today, and different Autel explorer app versions, but all of them act the same:

First step (aircraft in normal position), says "calibrating" for 15 seconds and then prompts me to put the drone upside down. Once I do that, the in-app screen doesn't say "calibrating" and keeps prompting me to put the drone upside down, even if it's already in that position. 5 mins later, the calibration times out and it give me a "calibration error" message.

This behaviour persists across every firmware version I tried. Any help?
