The transition is fairly straight up. If you want an established, well regarded model, it's the
Evo 2 Line. 1. Decide if you need a
Evo 2 (8K base model) or
Evo 2 Pro (6K, w/larger sensor, prosumer level imaging package) 2. Hit YouTube and watch a few dozen videos, minimally. There's more than enough info right there to get you situated.
3. Get out there and get good with it. That means more than every 2 or three weeks taking a flight. It's daily whenever possible. 2x a day if you can swing it (charge batteries in between)
Else you may be looking at the new consumer drones being released. Be aware that as new products there will be things that need refinement, but Autel produces solid hardware and will be putting a lot of resources into these releases. There aren't videos yet on how they perform and what to expect, but there will be, with no shortage of commentary, pro & con.
It a nutshell if Autel appeals to you, figure out what your budget can handle, then go, and get.
