I'm a 69yr old guy and I have an evo 2 V1 I bought literally the day before the V2 came out in 2021, I believe. Soon after I bought it I had health issues and couldn't fly it. I took it out last Sunday to take some aerial photos and took off from a heavily forested area and flew it out over a river for the photos. When I was done, I
was bringing it back to the landing zone and since it was a bit brushy and lots of pine tree branches around, I came up with the clever idea of pushing the "return to home" button (forgetting that the first move it would make would be to go vertical). Well, button pushed and it shot straight up toward
the tree branches above me. I was struggling with the control to bring it back down, but as soon as I let the paddle go, it shot up again. I tried to veer the drone out over the water so it wouldn't hit any tree branches but the only control I had any power over was the down lever. I finally gave up, hoping the obstacle
avoidance would somehow help on the vertical axis, but no it just went straight up and nicked a tree branch, went up some more, nicked another tree branch and then fell 50 feet straight down to the rocky river bed below. Complete destruction- body broken, arms torn off, the battery landed in a 3" deep pool of water for about 30 seconds until I pulled it out. All the fault on this was on me, because of my lame move.
I threw the torn-up mess of a drone away and now I have virtually new with less than 5 minutes of flight time- 3 batteries (one got wet for 30 seconds), a 4 battery charger, a controller, a carrying case, 3 filtered lenses, and extra props that I have no use for. In my other post I was wondering what the value of the parts I have left? I don't need this stuff anymore because I went out and bought the nano+. Does this stuff have any value, and is anyone interested in buying it off me?
I'm not looking for top dollar, I just want fair value, if there is such a thing. If it is too much of a hassle, I'll just throw the stuff away in the trash and be done with it.
FYI, I live near Lake Tahoe in CA.
Collateral question- I've never sold anything online before, so what is the process to go through to ensure both parties in the sale have a positive experience?
