Question about Evo hard case

If you look at the 1st party Evo hard case it has a spot to hold a tablet (up to 10.5 inches!). Why? As it exists (IE without a 3rd party adapter) you cannot use a tablet with the Evo. Does this mean they will release a 1st party adapter so tablets can be used?
