Organising Files from Drone SD Card

Hello to all you Autel Pilots,

How are you organising all your files on your PC after you've downloaded or saved them from the SD Card?

e.g. Are you keeping the original Folder and File name or are you creating a new Folder and File Name

As I know Autel creates a new Folder such as 100MEDIA or 101TFTASK or 102PANOR or 103LAPSE and within these it creates Files such as MAX_0001, MAX_0002, MAX_003

Change them to something useful for searching, or at least put them in identifiable folders named using dates and/or project names or whatever will be useful for you to find the footage you're looking for down the line.

You have to come up with your own Naming Convention. I use an iMac and as a Home Inspector, I save files in a folder for the job and batch name them like so... (Wilson Drone 26 Feb 25- ####). The system numbers (- ###) them based on the time taken so they are all in order. It's the easiest way I've found for me.

If you are a PC user, there is a freebie photo viewing program called Faststone which I have enjoyed using for years. It has some basic editing features as well as batch renaming functions.
