Obstical Avoidance fail with night flying

Anyone else have the obstacle avoidance pretty much nonexistent when flying at night? Hit a tree the other night. No damage but I wasn't expecting it since all my day flights the obstacle avoidance kicked in.

Like your eyes, OA doesn't see very well in the dark, so it won't detect objects.

Well I mean I saw the tree. Just not in time!

OA is not perfect and in this scenario it doesn't surprise me that it didn't see the tree.

Indeed. At least GO 4 is sophisticated enough to warn you when light levels are insufficient for OA. Autel should implement the same, and make it clearer that their rear sensors only detect, but cannot avoid obstacles, even in full sunlight.
