Obstacle Avoidance Goes On and Off

I was flying tonight at our county fair never more than 1600 feet lateral distance and noticed that the obstacle avoidance kept turning on and off by itself. Also had some moments of almost losing visual transmission even with the drone in sight. The V2 with respect to the quality of it transmission range just plain sucks! It is good to have the dual stability and precision flight modes back which were lacking in the V3... But I can see that I have to be very careful not to fly too far away!

Looking forward to getting either a DJI mini 3 pro or M3P for better distance reliability.
