A few days ago my Nano+ downloaded an OTA firmware update and its causing the gimbal to go into limp mode during flight. Want to revert to another firmware but it looks like Autel pulled them all from their site.
Is there another repository anywhere for them? or anyone harboring any they could share?

Reached out to Autel and they shared them to me directly.
Their link was invite specific, re-sharing them from my hosts.
Firmware files are ~ 250mb each, including some instructions on how to flash, and the Android APK for Autel Sky since its relevant to the Nano.

Currently have FW versions
-1.6.5
-1.8.2
-1.8.5

If you have one other than this, please share it to me and I'll add it to this collection.

Do they allow rollback?

A thousand thank yous to others on this forum who provided far more useful information than Autel did during many emails back and forth. I am very frustrated the answers I got made it seem like no one read what I wrote.

I was disapointed one of the suggestions was to download firmware onto the SD card and load it into the drone that way without any link at all to firmware or any instructions at all.

Adding to my frustration is after searching around the Autel website I finally found firmware installation instructions, however, I could not find any links to the firmware.

Thanks to DriftUVA for providing the firmware and leading me to the fix.

My problem is that I have tried all 3 firmwares, but the maximum speed always remains 5 meters per second and I can't solve it

Anyone updated to the latest V1.9.8 (Released on July 11, 2024)? My app shows the current ones in red but does not seem to be allowing an update of this new firmware.

I've got the latest sky app but this new update doesn't show as available when everything is connected. Is it possible to force it to find it?

Anyone in the UK got the iphone app to download the latest Nano Plus firmware 1.9.8? Drone still shows it needs an update but I can't get the app to download or install it. App firmware is the latest shown which is September last year.

Same issue for us in the Lite Plus forum. Autel has not updated the Apple Store with v1.7.25 so we can’t get the latest firmware either. Autel support notified me they don’t have a schedule yet for when it will be released.

Thank you! I have messaged them too but not heard back. Hopefully it won't be too long, but strange they release firmware before the ability to even upload it?

On purchase, I upgraded mine to 1.98 and only every used it on that firmware.

Does anyone notice poor battery life on the latter firmware? I have no comparison. All 3 brand new batteries have horrible endurance.

I get horrible endurance (battery life / flight times) on all three brand new supplied batteries (Nano+ package with the 3 batteries etc.)

Typical flight endurance is maximum 17 minutes, despite "specs" stating around 28 minutes and anecdotal reports of around 24minutes.

All batteries have now cycled about 6 times and all batteries show no improvement for flight endurance.

The LONGEST flight I achieved was 17 minutes and that was hobbling home with barely a few percent in the tank. ie. Endurance is around 15 minutes safely.

STATIC TEST
I've also completed hovering test (garage...no wind) and still only achieve 15 minutes (landed at 9%).

CONCLUSION
Battery life is terrible, well below manufacturer claims and allowance for real world conditions, regardless of conservative flight modes.

Mine does 18-21 minutes with OA on.
If OA off it does 24-27 minutes.

The maximum flightime ''ofcourse'' should be measured with OA OFF
