The small case I ordered from AliExpress finally arrived. A little cramped but it’s ok. Charging strip and other odds and ends fit in zippered lid and it closes. Edit: Harbor Freight Apache 3800 shown for comparison. Link to new case was posted earlier in this thread.

It’s good for the price. If I had it all to do over I would order the black plastic version they have that is larger and skip this one and the Harbor Freight. It’s a little tight getting the drone in and out. I’ll use the Harbor Freight mostly but the new case will slip into a backpack or get carried when I want to draw less attention. My case arrived 3 days later than the projected date. USPS delayed “acceptance” a couple of days.

I use this backpack and love it. The advantage is that I could take the camera out while still hanging on one shoulder. But for drones that is not duable. I put my Mavic and controller on separate cases and then in separate compartments inside the backpack. Lowepro Fastpack BP 250 AW II (Black)

I put drone and remote in separate cases for protection, and then pack them into the backpack. Been doing this for years without any problem.
(At least I need the case for remote, as I never take off the sticks. )

My Lowepro photo hatchback BP250AWII has two compartments. the lower is well padded to keep your gears safe. Anything else on the upper compartment and water on the sides.

Due to OCD for accessories, too. just had a survey for hard case. Nanuk 915 is the right size for the bundle, they provides precut foams for DJI drone bundles, none for Autel yet.
I don't need it, just wondering what hard cases fit.

I've bought the ones for the Nano. I expect to receive them in a couple of weeks more or less. I've had this same model of case for the Mini 2 (same brand and style) and the quality is excellent. They are very rigid, the zipper is solid and the inner part is made with a soft lining, like velvet. I was very happy with it.

I just order the drone and controller as a set for $31.30 tax and shipping included. also ordered the Lowepro photo hatchback BP250AWII. Thanks for all the info

The hard case for my Lite+ arrived. I should have went this route to start. I now have an Apache 3800 and the smaller hard case I won’t be using haha. You can trim the inserts under the controller so the sticks can be left on or leave them and fit an extra battery under the controller. I trimmed and put card reader and extra props under

yeah, first time trying to put the Lite + back in that bag I knew I was going to have to get a different case.

I've found that if you place the Lite+ in the bag camera down, with the top of the Lite+ towards the back of the case and the legs towards the middle (I have spare props only in that section) it fits great.
I'm not a huge fan of the camera being closest to the ground, but it is in it's cover and protected by the padding.
I have also found that you can get the remote in with the sticks attached. Just place it with the sticks out towards the side of the case. So far so good.
