Firmware update

Firmware update won't start, it keeps telling me SD card is missing. Do I have to have SD card installed to perform this pricess?

yep, if that's what the process is telling you, i'd go ahead and insert the microsd card and keep going.....

Which SD card type works best?

Sandisk Extreme works just fine but I think for a firmware update it can be almost anything bigger than 4gb. The extreme is needed for high read/write speeds with 4K footage.

FYI .... make sure all devices have full battery (Drone, Controller, Cell/Tablet) for some reason it checks all, and it has a tendency to fail (with a probability to brick it self) if the Controller or Drone have less than 75%.
For me, the only one that has worked from the start is the manual FW update with putting the zip file (only) , Also it was the only way to update all 3 batteries .
