So I noted today whilst checking what the latest firmware version is for the Nano Plus that there was a newer version of the manual uploaded in June 24. Within this I note that it says we should be able to stop the motors in an emergency which is great (2.12). However, to do so isn't available within my version of the Autel Sky app under advanced settings? Any ideas or is it linked to the latest firmware version 1.9.8?

Under PROFILE and down the bottom of left column, what is the version of your app? The app store version may not be the "latest" that AUTEL provide direct.

FYI the android/google PLAY store app version is not the latest that AUTEL can provide directly. BUt i haven't tested the PLAY version (for the feature you refer to). I manually installed/updated the latest APK via direct download from AUTEL. Then I could get the 1.98 pack on the drone updated.

I have 1.98 firmware pack and I have the app (apk) downloaded direct from AUTEL.

My AutelSKy app version is 1.4.100.

PLAY STORE version is 1.4.68 released SEPT 2023.

I see those settings fine in the 1.4.100 app version.

This is the same issue as on the Lite + forum. Our new firmware is 2.0.15 but also requires the 1.4.100 Android Sky app before you're able to update firmware OTA. Autel support sent me a download link for the new Sky apps iOS and Android, but the iOS refuses to install. It's a standalone IPA file that has integrity errors on trying to install. That version is 1.7.25 (up from 1.6.8)
We also have new user manual which is tied to the new firmware. I like that Autel is making updates, etc but why they haven't updated the Apple and Google play stores versions is odd. Personally, I'm just going to wait until official new versions are on Apple and Google play stores, mainly because I use an iOS Mini 4 tablet for RC work.
On the 'emergency props stop', I see that in the UI for the Android 1.4.100 Sky app and I've been told that has actually always been available to our drones using the RC sticks. It's just being now added in the UI for convenience.

Hi thanks for this. Unfortunately i run IOS and already have the latest available firmware (1.6.8). The reply above explains a little bit more so I will just have to wait for it to appear in the apple store.

I'll have to wait for the apple store to catch up then, thanks. Emergency stop will be great as could have done with it recently with a fly away. False strong wind warning and off she went till the battery ran out. Only half a mile to walk to find it. Fortunately replaced a couple of props and all ready to go again, though has knocked my confidence in it a little.

Try this Autel link from your iPhone. (untested) it should identify the iphone device and choose the appropriate download. If browsed via android, it downloads the app (APK file).
