My Evo 2 Pro V3 sometimes drifts during hover... Factors: 4-5 knot winds, ATTI ( off ) normal GPS mode, stationary 5-6 ft. but it appears to drift at higher altitudes too. Any similar experiences? Solutions? Factors to consider that may explain this drift as normal?

Go settings / remote control / remote control calibration. Perform the calibration [be precise ! ! ] . After this calibrate the Compass [ settings flight control / compass calibration.
As last calibrate the IMU [settings / flight control IMU calibration.

If not ok after this repeat the procedure.
If no success, send it to Autel.

during calibrations make sure your aircraft is 100% leveled and located outside away from concrete. [ use tool!]

Thank you Rcee! I appreciate your time, and I hope this post is useful for others too.

Guys, thanks for the question and response. My drift seems to be getting worse, so I'll try the above steps. Now if I could just get rid of the "bottom view calibration error", I'd be like new.

I have that too. bottom error. and then it read mutable view calibration error. I sent it to autel because it was on
a worranty. . that since i added a amp. to the antenna they would't fix it. they wanted almost $2,000 TO FIX IT.
I told them to send it back. well i have been using it for almost a year and the drone works fine just like new. just
the way it is. meanwhile i just bought a DJI air 3s, it is ten times better than the evo 2 v3 pro.

Never done this in a perfectly level surface, but that makes sense. Why away from concrete?

I'm pretty sure the anti-concrete provision is in place to prevent any magnetic influence that iron rebar might present that could taint the successful completion of the compass calibration procedure.

Yes its the re bar in concrete which is maybe 4” below the surface. This is a frequent problem where I fly - Lots of concrete surfaces, Bridges, walkways, roof tops of parking structures, etc. I can sometimes hold the aircraft in my hands off the surface, chest level and get a compass calibration and then set the drone down on the concrete and to let the IMU get a fix, then fly-
