Charger lead in wrong port on controller

Hey Guys just got a x-star premium like new flown very little. In my haste to get battery and controller (didn't have my glasses on) pluged the gharger lead into the communication port next to the usb ports.....left it there awhile. does anybody know if this will hurt the remote control. the charging port of course is in the front with the plug basically making it hard to see until i read the manual....(Rookie mistake)....anyway any replies appreciated.

Turn it on and see if it starts. I think I made the same mistake at first. Had no problems.

I've done it and seen it done a few times. Did not affect any of the ones i've seen it happen to so I'm guessing it will be fine.

Yup been there done it to. Very first time right out of the box. LOL
It should fine.
