Best low light and bright light EVO setting?

I was wondering if someone with a decent amount of knowledge would share settings with crappy videographer's like me. I film in auto because I don't understand much about frame rates, shutter speeds, etc. I know low light and dark filming is pretty much hit or miss on my Evo. Cloudy days are iffy too, as I tend to lose light in the footage when I pan up or down sometimes, creating shadows. I do have a set of Freewell ND filter's, but I seem to do okay in bright daylight. Any knowledge or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm not new to photography at all, but new to the drone side of it... so I would be interested in hearing what people have to say also.
