A few days ago, I had an incident with my approximately 9-month old Evo2 Enterprise where it stopped responding to controller inputs and drifted itself into a wall, and fell approx 15 feet. This airframe has been flying nearly daily since I purchased it without prior issue. Luckily the damage was minor and one of the arms snapped at the motor and the other on that side has some stress cracks in the resin. I shipped it into Autel's Bothell repair facility and just received a quote back FOR $3265 and some change. YEAH RIGHT.
Currently I can purchase a brand new exact same Enterprise bundle with batteries, smart controller, AND accessories for hundreds of dollars less!! What kind of robbery are they trying to pull?? From my understanding, the carbon arms are not available anywhere besides for directly through Autel... does anybody have a source for them? I will either repair it myself or sell it off for parts.
I had an Inspire 2 with x7 get shot down from nearly 400ft and DJI "repaired" (replaced) it for less! I guess this answers all my Autel worries when I bought this drone for mapping.
