Videos show in slow motion

why are my videos transferring with slow motion?

I remove the card
Put it in a card reader
Insert it in my MAC
When I open the files they start normal then go to slow mo

If I transfer it to Adobe premiere, same thing, slow mo.

Any thoughts?

Computer getting bogged down/not enough power to play back in real time is the only thing I can think of. Especially if they start normal then slow down. What resolution/framerate are the clips? Did other resolutions play back properly or is this the first time you're trying to load in footage?

Couple suggestions: try turning the playback resolution down in premiere, rendering the timeline in premiere, or rendering a clip out and seeing if that plays normally. Good luck!
