why can’t military use a hobby drone to paint a target with laser for smart bombs and other stuff...?
Very high, can’t hear or see them........ Just wondering

I have a friend on another platform UAV forum that used to work in that field. Since retired but you would be shocked at what the military has.

Amen...... a coupla years back my Grandson was stationed in Djibouti, Africa where the big boys drones fly from and I told Home I was gonna send him an early DJI and he almost fainted in the email..... “not just No but HAIL NO”
