Bought a 4N but controller software looks like 4T???

I just got my 4N and have the controller connected to the drone (can move the gimbal) but it won’t do firmware updates (just says “checking”) I don’t get a video signal on the smart controller either. When I look at the controller it seems like it has the 4T software (assuming it’s different that the 4N??). It has zoom and IR but the 4N doesn’t have a zoom lense. When I put it in zoom, it goes to 160.. definitely not something the 4N should do right? I can’t find anything on if the 4T and 4N use different controllers or just different firmware and how i can update/swap it. Anyone else have this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

MAX 4T\4N controllers, software and drone bodies are the same.
you can swap cameras between them easily too.

Got ya… so it must be a firmware issue? At least that’s my thought. I’m guessing the firmware on the aircraft is different than the controller. Unfortunately the controller won’t recognize the aircraft firmware version.

I have the T and want to get the N camera so I can switch the payload. I wonder what would happen then! So far they want just as much for the N camera as a whole new Max 4N drone complete. Does not add up.

Yep I understand. What should happen? It should just work) Sometimes I have to swap 4T\4N gimbals 10 times a day. Without any issues.

Was your 2nd camera\gimbal crazy expensive which ever one it was? I watched a guy switch out the cameras and was simple and fast.

I still can’t get the thing to show video on the controller. I’ve been working with Autel and not getting anywhere. They seem to think it’s my microsd cards but I’ve tried three and no good. So, still trying.

Hang in there as some of my questions get to be slow motion as well. Not something you want to hear after forking out that much greens.
