The side by side comparison display of thermal and RGB camera crosshairs are quite a bit off on my Max 4T XE. (Thermal on target, RGB is off to the upper left) Makes it difficult to confirm the identity of thermal image. Anyone possibly know of a simple calibration to fix this?

Oh my. This is kinda of funny because i was just coming here to see and ask the same question if anyone else is having the same issue. And also, let me ask you this. Have you already done the firmware update? It is not the gimbal because I just got mine back due to this complaint and they completely replaced my gimbal….with the 4N…I think to keep me quiet because it is like $3k more, but it had the same result. I call it the centerpoints. It’s a programming issue and im starting to wonder if it was due to the firmware update. Or just a glitch in the XE. I tried desperately to explain that this is just a novelty drone at this point….I need exact precision. I had the original 4T when doing Pet search and rescue and it was perfect. Then i had an accident but had the insurance and have had nothing but issues trying to get back to square one of being able to get a drone from Autel that is useable. Thanks for the info

Thank you for responding. I have done the updates, but it has been the same since I got it in January. Definitely makes pet rescue much more difficult than it should be; easy to find with thermal, but then have to scan a second time trying to see and confirm on the color camera. To compound the problem a little more, I just received the speaker/spotlight 3 days ago and it also is so far off centerline from rgb camera that it is rather useless beyond 50 feet or so. Attached images are of a baby deer in a hay field, and 2 dogs I located on top of a small mountain. The thermal center point is spot on. Any advice on getting it recalibrated?

Oh yeah, btw, you can adjust the spotlight though. Can’t remember if it was under “payload” once you attach. I have the spotlight too so if you still cant find it let me know. Unless…..of course this firmware stole the possibility. If so, that’s not good.

Thanks... I'll look again, but 'Payload' only gave me 3 brightness levels, and 3 manual angle-tilt settings: 0, -45, and -90 degrees.
I think I just found you on FaceBook... sending you a friend request...
