A week in a tree 70 feet up, and it wasn't even wet, but it's gotten wet and dried out several times during that period. The bucket truck wouldn't have reached that high.

Believe it or not, my tree climber friend only cost me $20 out of pocket thanks to some Father's day money I received.

Out of that it is all about the law of averages on flying one into an obstacle. OBD, looks like you are nearly in business having a tree climber and a guy with a cherry picker rig in your back pocket.

Wow; that's really impressive! Last I heard, it wasn't able to avoid the thin, random branches that sometimes stick out of the bunch; but this sure looks like it does!

The word from CES was that Autel may be be coming out with obstacle avoidance on the next model. We'll see.

Appears that DJI definitely has some nice features. Collision avoidance might have saved me $200 when my pumpkin hit the tree.

They are both great guys, but I hope I never have to call on either one of them again. Maybe I should fly with a 100 ft rope attached.
