Should I buy the new smart controller

I was told the V2 Evo II and controller and such were discontinued and held off until the EVO III R&D and release. So I couldn't get a V.2 Evo 2 pro if I wanted. Coming from Autel themself
Hmmm, was this Autel US or what kind of source at Autel? EVO II V2 and Smart Controller V2 are certainly not discontinued and continued to arrive in here at Advexure regularly, far from discontinued, just now getting production up to where it needs to be as everything V2 has been very short supply, particularly Smart Controllers.

From what I was emailed as I was concerned about a v1 or v2 drone. This is what I was told, I guess more or less the v2 drone, not controllers.

Hi Josh,

Currently, there is no Version 2 produced, affected by the global chip shortage, Autel has stopped producing EVO II V2 program, and they will put more capability to next year EVO III R&D and design. So the EVO II sell In our store are EVO II V1 and of course you can not find any V2 drone or review on the whole market, there only have a piece of news from in several month ago."

I just recently upgraded from the lite+ premium package to the evo II pro rugged package.. And I may want the smart controller.. But hear V1 is limited supply. Do you as a supplier even have these still?

Josh.

Can you provide a screenshot of the email address or at least the email domain this came from? Feel free to PM if you wish.

This information is 100% false and I'm guessing it's coming from a Chinese reseller with a domain name that has Autel in it. Pure misinformation.

PM Sent :)

So I am incorrect, Purchased from a different company or reseller called AutelPilot and was thinking it was Autels original website, and the emails are not from Autel directly as I had thought hopefully, my drone is real when it shows up!

There have been many posts from members regarding issues with the "AutelPilot" storefront. It has NO connection to either this forum nor Autel Robotics. I would not trust them at all... if I were you, I'd just go ahead and cancel the order if not shipped. Or intitiate a chargeback.

Either way, you might want to consider dealing with @advexure, as he is a well respected vendor that is known on this board. 👍

Regarding the "AutelPilot" storefront... the official presidential website address is whitehouse DOT gov.
Well, over 20 years ago an individual intent on causing confusion (like the "AutelPilot" storefront),
purchased the domain whitehouse DOT com. What was put up? Oh, a porn site. 🧐

@Josh1340 Eric didn't try to sell you some lowland area in Louisiana for a great price did he?

You mean "Eric" isn't the owner of the real Autel? </sarcasm>

OP confirmed that he was not corresponding with Autel directly, instead it was "AutelPilot" which unfortunately is a consistent source of misinformation. They are not Autel, from what we've been told they are a Chinese reseller and are not authorized to sell into the US market.

We recommend the OP either revise or remove his comments to prevent further misunderstanding and confusion.
