Before I take the plunge and update, some background and then a question:
I have been using a Galaxy Tab S6 with my Evo II Pro since October and I've not been shy about crowing about the beautiful Super AMOLED screen or it being such a value proposition. The one I picked up was a refurb that looked new and came with Android 11 and Samsung's UI 3.1 update installed. (Originally the Tab S6 came with Android 9 Pie). Mine is WiFi only with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Now Samsung is pushing out the Android 12 update with their proprietary UI 4.1 skin. I'm always hesitant to update any device that's working well, and especially one a couple of generations old because of my (slightly jaded) experience that tech companies too often use updates to break stuff in important ways such that you're forced to update the hardware. That all said, UI 4.1 does look enticing for a couple of reasons, moreso than Android 12
Q: has anyone updated specifically the Tab S6 to Android 12/ UI 4.1 yet to find that it does or does not work with Autel Explorer? (Any other issues?)
