Resuming flight mission

So I was flying a pre-planned mission last week for mapping a rooftop at ~150' AGL and the aircraft battery ran low, so the device returned to home. I swap the battery, power it up, bring it ~10' of elevation, and tell the aircraft to resume the mission. Upon doing to, the aircraft dives down to about 4" off the deck and just sits there. No matter what combination of command I tried, the device just would not correctly resume the mission. This happen to anyone else? Firmware is fully up to date as of last week.
