Most years around this time yes you could but this year has been warmer then most so what ever ice there is just service is about 2 inches thick. Any kind of wind breaks it up real fast. It is really to bad as that is a great spot to take the kids out to catch white fish not far from shore by just walking out. By the end of February there should be enough ice to do that but not now.

That reminds me... a senior friend of mine had a box store R/C truck and he fed the squirrels right out of the back. He said one would sit in the back eating while he drove it around slow. Lol
