New Lite+ Remote Battery Life RC sucks

Hey Guys, Just received my Lite+ yesterday.. All firmware up to date.. Flew one battery today and the remote controller batter is at 1/2 now.. SO that means you can fly 2 batteries then have to charge the RC ? This makes no sense to me.. Maybe the new sky controller ( like a Play Station ) has a small battery or is this just me seeing this crappy battery life in the RC ? TIA for any replies..

updating the firmware can drain the remote quite a bit; did you put the remote back on teh charger after the sw update?

Im sure it does, but when the firmware was all updated I charged the battery to 100% and the controller..
