This was a MODIS satelite image taken on Dec. 27th of Lake Superior sea smoke and snow squall clouds. When it looks like this you know it is darn cold!

(Just so no one gets in trouble... I am being facetious about you taking the photo with the x star. I would hate to have the FAA contact you for an explanation)!
BTW: do you know the altitude the satellite was at for the photo?

Funny thing I found out from my FAA buddy a couple of months ago. I asked him how the authorities know whose door to knock on or where to send the citation to? His reply.........wait for it.......

There is a guy on the Autel facebook page who works for the FAA, he breaks more rules then most when flying LOL
