Best spot for Evo Lite Enterprise questions?

I purchased the Evo Lite Enterprise and I am looking for information mostly with the mapping side of the house.

I guess first question would be; does anyone here use this bird to do orthomosaic and photogrammetry? Before I was using a Mavic Air2 and rendering through maps made easy. It turned out decent results for sure. I was extremely limited with area I could cover and sometimes the third party mission planning and flight app would not complete a mission during battery swaps. That would not happen often but annoying enough.

Next, since I always used a DJI specific workflow it is not compatible with pictures taken with the Autel platform. So I have a couple options for Exif data in the Mission planning section of the Autel app and those are:

  • Pix4d
  • Standard
I have never been prompted to make that decision for embedded data. Does anyone know the differences? Should I just use Pix4d as a default because it might include more data?

And last question for now; are there any third party apps you could use on the controller the Lite Enterprise comes with? Detailed information for this particular model does not seem to be easy to find. Generally speaking, the most you get is a very quick overview of the functions.

If there is a source of detailed instruction out there I would love to know because I cannot find it.

You are in a similar situation as mine, coming from a Mavic Mini 2 using Map Pilot Pro and Maps Made Easy. Very little support for our Evo Lite 640T. Regarding third party apps, I raised that question to Autel Support, the answer was: "The EVO Max Series and EVO Lite Enterprise Series operate on the same Enterprise app, which is already installed on your unit's smart controller. There is no other third-party app to install for flight missions." Doing some research I came across PixPro and SkyeBrowse and raised the same question of compatibility for our system. No answers yet. I will keep you posted.

I have the 6k version and have had to call customer support a few times. First one was the issue with it thinking I was in China and kept asking for real name ID. That got fixed with a forced firmware update. If you went to check for updates on the RC it said no update available. They emailed the files and that got sorted.

Next was the fact they advertised this camera as having an ISO capability of 48000 for a "night" mode. I did not have this option and only had a max ISO of 6400. They said the option was there for the 7.9" controller and they were beta testing a new firmware for the controller that came with mine and it would be coming out soon.

I hope this is true because that was one of the selling points for me.

I have been flying a few maps and it seems to pretty solid overall. I love the flight time for sure. I don't think it handles the wind as well as my DJI though.

The EVO Lite Enterprise 6K is advertised for 6400 ISO
The EVO Lite+ is advertised for 48000 ISO and has a additional night mode.

You might have mixed things up here.

I saw mentioned the V3 7.9" controller for the Evo Lite Enterprise. Is that the V3 EF9-3 model? And if so where can I get the firmware update to run it on the Evo Lite Enterprise?
