Brand new owner evo 2 dual 640t V3, so please cut me some slack. I need to mark numerous locations as I am flying. I need to access these GPS coordinates and be able to save the data. I also need to monitor and track the location I will be flying over. Basically, grid searching, and marking locations as I fly. It is my understanding the only way to do this is to use the recording feature, under mission? Than add waypoints?

Don’t understand your question m8.
-If you want to “mark” places when you fly (manually I presume, not planned mission), point the cam down/perpendicular to ground (gimbal pitch 90deg). In camera settings, enable grid. When you are above the location you need to mark, just take an image - and you will have image center coordinates. You can use these coordinates to create a waypoint route later. (Check relevant images EXIF data for lat/lon coordinates)
Don’t know what you refer to when wanting to “track location”.
We are here to help :)
