Ha ha! Yes, actually, I do. As I understand it, the town's name came from the shape of a village of Native Americans who occupied this land for many generations before Europeans arrived. It was important (for Native Americans) to be beside the Scioto River - for both commercial and spiritual "reasons." Just south of Circleville - in Chillicothe, Ohio - is one of the largest burial "Mound City Groups" in America. Here's a video I made recently of the Scioto River:
