I finally finished painting and reassembling the shell on my evo pro 2. It was a bit more difficult than I first anticipated, but the finished product is worth it.
Someone expressed some concern the lighter colors would affect visual site of the aircraft, but I don't feel there is any difference. It turns the same black color as the stock color, once it gets about 100ft away.

That is super cool. Amazing.

Specifically, what was more difficult about it?

Thank you! disassembling the shell and getting all the pieces ready to paint was more difficult than I thought. All the plastic needed sanded and primed, and I had to paint the vent screens separately so they didn't get covered over.
The engineering is impressive though. Very tight tolerances

Yea, but it sure sounds like you took your time - and it shows in the finished job. That looks amazing. So classy. That white and yellow really go well together. Yours looks like a level (or two) up from the decals sets you can buy for your drones. I did that and meticulously took my time and it came out...."fake" looking (best description I can come up with). Yours looks fantastic - like you bought it that way.

Thank you! It took about a week and a half to complete, but that included fixing a couple mistakes. I might buy a new shell and paint another one. I raced r/c cars when I was a teenager so I have a lot of experience painting r/c car bodies.
