Battery Shows Charging... but Never Does?

Hello!

One of my Autel Evo II Pro batteries refuses to charge. It shows as charging (the lights cycle up as usual) but the moment it's off the charger it is completely dead.

Tried the multi-charge Hub (both modes) and directly to the wall-plug charger.

Thoughts?

If this was my car, I'd perform a load test and many voltage readings to plot a trend. But it sounds like a damaged battery at quick glance.

A. Is the battery old or new?

B. Has the battery been without charge for a long time?

C. Has the battery been in an hot / ice cold environment for a long time?

There is a video online to be found from Autel Robotis about how to store and recharge the batteries also when the aircraft is not flown to get the longest life out of them.

I have 8 of the EVO 2 batteries and all still work fine. I keep a log for each battery. Some have been used a lot and some were barely used. I am curious how their behavior will differ after a year or two. Will the oldest just die first or the ones that got flown more or maybe the ones that had longer times on the shelf?
