X Star Premium CONTROLLER

I purchased 3 X Star Premium Drones, but now I have 3 boat anchors. It appears that we'll never find batteries again, but here's my question:
Will the X Star Premium controller work on any other Drone? I hate to toss 3 battery chargers and 3 controllers if any other Drone out there can be flown with X Star's controller. I might be willing to search for another Drone that can fly with my controller.

If you are going to toss them anyways. Would you consider opening up the batteries and refreshing the cells yourself.

I’ve done it with a DeWalt battery pack, is the only experience I have with that, however I had the benefit of a YouTube guide.

I just purchased 2 x-star batteries on eBay. They were off brand but new and work great.
