Hi new here do you need a phone to fly this where does the transmissin comucation come from if I get a android tablet with no wi fi will it still fly
Where does the evo 2 get the transmission from .

The tablet is not essential to fly.
BUT without tablet, wifi or mobile data, it will not be possible for you to have the google cart of flight, to program flights such as orbit, waypoints etc ... and this quickly becomes restrictive.
