Has anyone seen it? A tad expensive but oh man, no worries flying over water.
Looks like it would be really fun to play in the water with it.

Yeah it's pretty pricey for less distance (1km max), less gimbal (2 axis), less airspeed...paying solely for the waterproof aspect which is a cool concept but not sure how big the marketplace is yet for the drone fishing (saw it done here in Florida and it is pretty cool but not very climactic as is catching the fish, and kites are way cheaper). Nice find to check out.

Yeah, I seen it done here in Cali too. They just hook the line and fly it out so you can get your line out farther and drop it.

didn't someone 3d print a rig for the xstar so you could use it for fishing

I haven't seen it. I have seen some DIY line droppers though. They get out where they want the bait and back off so it slides off the piece of wire.

Oh nice. It's the exact same idea these guys I saw on youtube were doing but way better. I think they used a wire coat hanger. haha
