Has anyone found a place to cannibalize power from the Evo II Enterprise? I've got a remote ID module, but I'd love to figure out a way to power it from the drone rather than from a separate lipo battery.

I'm okay with voiding any warranty or opening the case if needed.

I would not risk breaking your drone, just get a module that has its own battery. IMO I would not even worry about putting one on.

A module that has its own built in battery isn't great because I occasionally fly 5+ hours a day and can't charge the RID module in between flights. I currently use a module with an external battery so I can at least swap batteries, but that's not as ideal as built in power.

Regarding your opinion about not putting one on, I am not risking FAA action against my license and my airplane license. It is a legal requirement and I will comply. Much of my flying is done for government sponsored work, so non-compliance is absolutely not an option.

I totally understand, was not aware that your doing government sponsored work. Another possibility is getting the new Evo Lite enterprise edition.

Just checked Amazon is having sale and probably alot more, if your willing to spend 32 dollars on one that claims to have 5 hours batter life I do not see how you could go wrong with it.
