phone battery overheating

So I am using an LG V10 with the X-Star. Everytime I use it while flying my phone overheats. The other day I was on my second battery on my X-Star and my phone decided to shut down due to heat. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

I have used my older LG 3G and have never had that happen. I have used a I-Phone and had it happen on a very hot day. What kind of temps are you flying in?

this day in question it was pretty hot out. At least 100. I am in south Nevada, summer here sucks.
