Does anyone know of a Parachute Recovery System that is ASTM F3322-18 certified that can be used on an Autel EVO II 640T V3? Checked with VectorSave and though they have a device that will work on the Autel, it is not certified. I would need a certified device for Public Safety use.
Thanks.

I am also in public safety. Who is saying you need a certified system, just curious?

If you need to fly over people (moving vehicles) a Part 91 Standard or Jurisdictional COA would allow for that during emergencies, no parachute system needed.
The process for a COA is pretty straight forward and easy now since so many agencies have done it and laid the path. We got approval within 24 hours.

There is a new waiver that the FAA has come out with for Public Safety, namely the "Public Safety Organization Shielded Operations Waiver (107.31, 107.39, and 107.145)" for those organizations that fly under 107 and not a COA. In order to get this waiver, you need to have a PRS which conforms to ASTM F3322-18 for any UAS that weighs more that .88 lbs. Hence the question. My organization is not quite ready for a COA, but we will get there eventually.

Need the same. Enhanced containment. Since the EVOII is EOP, it might be hard to find.
