Is that the farthest the phone & phone holder will tilt backward? Is it more uncomfortable to fly as a result? How's phone visibility, weight distribution and handling?

Yep that's it. It does interfere a little bit with the tilt but it's not that bad. Front of the transmitter is front heavy but again nothing that bad.

Of course it increased the range! In one direction I was only getting about 1 1/4 miles out before I lost signal and after installing the Switch antenna in the same direction I am now getting almost 4 miles!

If I use the built in monitor only (without a phone) can I see the GPS map. For long distance I need the map.

The antenna is just too darn heavy to be putting on the front of that small controller. Main reason I sold mine.
