Weird performance on the EVO II. The return to home info did not update properly. Instead Drone used data from test location from CHINA when drone was tested. Instead of flying home with local info, once flight path was completed, it started flying away from current location. Towards China? The data that was used to test the drone in China was never deleted from the unit prior.to shipping. Still recorded on the controller and it appears to have used the same return home info once it completed it's flight plan. After refreshing GPS connections drone return home worked correctly.

yeah the key is to pause for a bit and allow the current home point to refresh gps and take hold *before* starting the flight. 
Or manually (re)set your home location just seconds after first takeoff, e.g. while hovering over a safe place to land should RTH be used at a later point in time. The controller will have a voice notification such as "Home point has ben set" and the H on the cartographic display will show the point near you.
If this is not the case maybe a recalibration of the aircraft is a solution. I remember a post here from someone that said the homepoint would default to a place in the ocean near Africa. So this can become indeed tricky if isn't checked by the pilot.
