What truly is the maximum payload weight that this thing can handle. there is no way that it is just .84 lbs like the manufacturer states...

Im trying to find a automatically inflating type IV PFD to drop from my EVO MAX but everything is coming in around 1.2 lbs... Think this is too much??

I do not know the payload information, but the Restube automatic is 245 grams or 0.54 lbs.
We use them for a public safety drone and the Evo 2 Dual carried it without issue.

You think the Evo Max could carry two?

The official Evo Max payload drop system from Autel states .7 pounds. So I would not attempt to carry two.

It would most likely carry two, but my concern would be when batteries start to age and deteriorate, the added weight could trigger a low power descent or worse.
I had this happen on a cold damp day where my Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced auto landed due to low voltage when carrying a single Restube Automatic.

I absolutely love the Restube Automatic. We tested it during a drill with news coverage and it more than met our needs. It is light weight and simple to repack with ~$20 repack kits.

Okay, thanks for the reply, really appreciate it.
