Hey everyone. Just picked up an Autel EVO last week. All I can say is Wow! I've been flying DJI products since 2014, including a Phantom FC40, four Phantom 2's, a Spark (returned after one flight), and a Mavic Pro.
For some strange reason, I've got a jones for flying far over large bodies of water-- a habit that has cost me dearly. So of course I took my EVO out over the Pacific on its maiden flight.
Had a few video dropouts but overall I was impressed, especially with the 30fps 4K video (Mavic only does 24 fps and has a 'soft' spot in the focal plane). There are some minor quirks and glitches but nothing that can't be helped with a firmware or app update (more on that in another post). I'm looking forward to putting it through its paces and exploring all the intelligent flight modes and features.
