Latest firmware update stuck several times.

Dear all Nano plus owners.

I had a weird situation. Latest Firmware update stuck after download and start updating. Time out . I reconnected it and two times times again stuck.
Suddenly he did start updating faster and no time out.
Normally this is going always good.

I have this problem wih the nano+ with the last update

1. Auto take off doesn't work, nano+ turns on motors but won't take off

2. Manual takeoff, I turn on the motors manually and when I give the lift lever it doesn't take off, today I realized that you have to leave the lever up for more than two seconds for it to take off.

3. The right lever for lateral and forward movements does not work when the front or front sensors of the Nano+ have a lot of light or are facing the direction of the sun, setting the sun behind the Nano+ works without problem, the same at night.

4. The autofocus is not working, I have videos that are really worthless

5. The crooked horizon
 
I had 1st update by WIFI at last FW in this way:
1. Uninstall AUTEL SKY old
2. Install new Autel Sky version
3. Start FW update after you are logged in.
4. It is possible to give you a FAILURE at 50-60%...click Acknowledged, restart RC and drone, try again. I had a few errors when I have clicked UPDATE second time, keep saying that cannot do that while drone is flying :)))), as it was sitting on the floor, but after 3 clicks it started to update. This time was OK, updated 100%, the only remaining RED at FW was the RC (I have understand that are multiple versions of RC and this is why is not an issue).
5. No battery update needed for rest of them as the battery remained at 1.3.9.

Again troubles installing latest firmware.
There is a bug in the firmware process.
At all times downloading fails.
Even with free space at SD card.
Solution , I must format the SD card all times and it is working .
I hope Autel will fix this process.
 
I've the issue with my new nano+ during update.
It stuck in the loop from 20% to 28% update status and after several attempts I'm receiving the message: 'Update failed. Please restart the vehicle and remote controller to try again' and at the same nano is blinking with green light without connection with controller. I repeated this procedure a lot of times with the same sad result. The card is ok and nano is recording 4K video without any issues. I tried application from Google Play and also from QR link. I also tried to format SD card before the procedure. Do you think I have to perform some extra ritual or it's just a warranty case and I have to return nano?

Update: I've done it :) All I have to do is just to take zip file with update from the hidden folder in the phone -> place it to root folder of sd card (it's better to delete all hidden files and folders from it) -> turn on controller, drone, phone -> wait for connection -> insert SD card -> profit.

Hey hi Brodix, great. I still belief its a bug in the update procedure. The SD card I use is always in the Nano en not full. Otherwise the procedure must check that before updaten and warn you. And ask if its ok tobe formatted during updating process. Its stupid that you must do it by hand and transferring files.
 
I also encountered some issues in the OTA update [updated the app before as required.] The file download never started. after switching off my phone wifi it downloaded the files flawlessly over the cellular connection and the update processed faultless.

It looks like my issue not in update bug :( After update was done I tried to make my first street flight but found that my drone has drone-controller connection defect - controller is losing connection with aircraft in 4 meters distance and sometimes even closer... So I think this issue was the real reason of updating issue.

I have similar issue whilst the nano+ was trying to update the firmware. It always got stuck during the downloading at 20%. I have repeated this many times and still not able to update the nano+ firmware. Can someone provide step by step instructions on how we can successfully update the firmware? Thank you.

I tried changing the SD card…..and it now able to update successfully to fw ver 1.4.9.
Also able to update the fw for the other two spare batteries that came with my combo.

With the help of Autel support, i slved the problem, here is how anyone with Autel EVO Lite+ can upgrade to the latest frimware:
Here is the firmware package for you. Lite FW 2.0.19 - Google Drive

1. Format or empty the SD card and copy the firmware zip package to the SD card.
2. Start the aircraft and remote control to keep active, make sure the power of the aircraft and remote control is not less than 30%, and insert the SD card inside the aircraft card slot.
3. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the aircraft, the aircraft will start automatically, the aircraft arm light will flash alternately during the process, and stop flashing indicates that the upgrade is successful, the whole process takes 8-15 minutes, please wait patiently for the firmware upgrade to complete.
4. Remove the SD card after the upgrade.
5. Reboot the aircraft and remote control, and enter the APP to check the firmware version of the aircraft.
I would add that now you should delete the zip file from SD card and you can insert the SD again.
